1. In what ways can I donate?

First, you may donate using our online payment portal where we accept credit card donations via Square. If you would like to pay by check, please make check out to: HV Latino Scholarship Fund and mail to: PO Box 31, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533.

2. Where can I find the scholarship application?

You can find the scholarship application under the button for ‘Application’ on the homepage of our website. Please download the scholarship application and fill out. Please return the scholarship application and all other necessary documents before the designated deadlines. Applications must be postmarked by no later than the deadline date. Any applications postmarked or returned to us AFTER the deadline date or applications that do not have all the required documents included will not be considered for scholarships.

3. How much is the scholarship money?

The amount awarded to our honorees depends on the amount that we receive in donations throughout the year prior to the award ceremony. Typically our scholarships range between $500-$2000.

4. Will the scholarship money be given directly to me or sent to the college of my choice?

We will first contact the Bursar’s Office of the college you will be attending to make the donation towards your college tuition. If you received a full scholarship to the college you are attending, we will then send the scholarship award to you directly.

5. Is the Hudson Valley Latino Scholarship Fund a non-profit organization?

Yes, we are an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization through the New York State Department of State, since 2019. EIN: 83-3439047

6. Where do I mail a check for my donation?
